Deaf CanDo
Since 1891 Deaf CanDo has been working with South Australia's Deaf community to provide a range of services and programs designed to:
- Assist Deaf persons to promote and extend their social, educational and occupational opportunities.
- Promote public interest in the welfare of Deaf persons.
- Help the Deaf and hearing impaired access general community services.
- Advocate on behalf of Deaf persons and to provide interpreting support to enable Deaf persons to advocate.
- Provide interpreting support to enable Deaf persons to advocate for themselves.
- Facilitate and coordinate support to aged Deaf persons with other disabilities.
