• Assist Deaf persons to promote and extend their social, educational and occupational opportunities.
• Promote public interest in the welfare of Deaf persons.
• Help the Deaf and hearing impaired access general community services.
• Advocate on behalf of Deaf persons and to provide interpreting support to enable Deaf persons to advocate.
• Provide interpreting support to enable Deaf persons to advocate for themselves.
• Facilitate and coordinate support to aged Deaf persons with other disabilities.
