      <description>Since 1891 Deaf CanDo has been working with South Australia&apos;s Deaf community to provide a range of services and programs designed to:

    Assist Deaf persons to promote and extend their social, educational and occupational opportunities.
    Promote public interest in the welfare of Deaf persons.
    Help the Deaf and hearing impaired access general community services.
    Advocate on behalf of Deaf persons and to provide interpreting support to  enable Deaf persons to advocate.
    Provide interpreting support to enable Deaf persons to advocate for themselves.
    Facilitate and coordinate support to aged Deaf persons with other disabilities.</description>
